This project is located in New Westminster and consists of three stacked boxes. The upper floor is shifted 4' in two directions. To the south for shade and to the east for rain protection at the deck. This simple gesture defines the composition, and the form is supplemented with aluminum blade accents and angled cedar siding for scale and texture. The project was built on a very tight budget for a young family who wanted an architecturally designed house that would stand out in the neighbourhood.
